About Us

Who I Am?

My name is Andy Gill and I am the founder of a new and innovative service which provides daytime activities for people living with dementia,  or anyone who feels they may benefit from joining in.

With my background in elderly care rehabilitation and more recently as a home carer who primarily works to help keep dementia clients in their own home, I have extensive experience and knowledge in this field. On a personal note, in  2016 my wife was diagnosed with a rare form of vascular dementia and I am therefore acutely aware of how difficult life can be in trying to support  a loved one and give them the best life has to offer.

My Goal

My aim, along with my experienced team, is to provide a safe and welcoming environment, where your partner, relative or friend can relax and join in activities which suit their abilities.

This will provide you with the reassurance that when we collect your partner, relative or friend, you can go about your daily business worry free, until they are returned.

Something for all during our sessions

During our sessions we will endeavour to explore all of the activities listed in the section below, with the aim of stimulating and involving everyone in some way.

We will provide buffet snacks as well as hot and cold drinks throughout the day. Clients are also welcome to bring their own packed lunches.

Our activity support staff will work in small groups of 4 to 5 clients and rotate the activities to suit all.

We will also COLLECT and DROP OFF locally for only £4.00*

What you need to bring?

We would need you to bring any products that you would usually need during the day,  e.g incontinence pads,  wipes, etc. The online form that you complete whilst booking your sessions will give us an insight to any personal care needs.

There is a separate room in the venue available for personal care.

Experience and Support

We understand that not one activity works for all.  We will take the time to get to know our Clients and develop individualised activities that fits their specific needs, over the sessions we will be running.
