The monthly Supper Club was first established by Young Dementia UK and Dementia Active is thrilled to be able to continue providing this excellent service from Thursday, February 27th 2020.
It takes place in the evening on the fourth Thursday of every month, 7.30pm to 9.30pm and is a proper night out with a three course meal, a bar, live entertainment and the chance to dance. The Supper Club is for the whole family and partners, parents, children and friends are all really welcome.
Young onset dementia along with all forms of dementia can leave people feeling isolated as their worlds seem to shrink, so the Supper Club offers a great opportunity for people to come together and meet others who are having similar experiences. Primarily though, the evening is about having fun together and for many it has become a fixture in their diaries.
The ticket price is £12 however any surplus funds from ticket sales at the end of Dementia Active’s financial year will be shared between Supper Club members and Young Dementia UK.
The venue is the very smart Cassington Village Hall with its own car park. The hall is situated by the green in the centre of the village and conveniently located just 6 miles from the centre of Oxford, just off the A40 westbound.
In order to correctly estimate the number of meals required we would appreciate it if you could book online in advance, but we understand not everyone can. You will still be welcome to pay on arrival.
