This year Kelly's Heroes rode from Broughton Castle near Banbury leaving on Thursday 9th September and arrived at Lands End in Cornwall on Saturday 11th September. It was a total of 330 miles over 3 days which was a huge effort from the boys and their biggest challenge yet. So far they have raised over £8,000
Kelly’s Heroes are a group of (now 14!) men from Oxfordshire, who have been raising money for local charities over the last 5 years by cycling various long-distance routes, including Banbury to Blackpool, London to Brighton & Oxford to Paris! To date Kelly’s Heroes have raised in excess of £36,000.
The charity they have selected to benefit from their fundraising efforts this year is Dementia Active, (Charity no. 1195246) with an established track record in providing social activity groups for people who have a diagnosis of dementia across Oxford, Bicester and Banbury.
The quest to raise money for this charity is close to many of the riders’ hearts, and any sponsorship you can provide will be greatly appreciated by all involved.
